Take registration payments online through your own PayPal account. Registrants pay by PayPal or by debit or credit card on PayPal’s secure checkout, then come straight back to their confirmed registration. Card details never touch your site.
Every payment is recorded on the registration for you, and refunds are a click away in your WordPress admin. If someone refunds or disputes a payment in PayPal, the registration updates to match.
If you hold events in the same handful of places, you’ve typed those addresses more times than you’d like. Locations ends that.
Add each venue once, with its address, phone, website, map link, and notes on parking, which entrance to use, and accessibility. When you build an event, choose the venue from a dropdown and the location is filled in for you. It then shows on the event page, in listings, in the calendar feed, and in your emails.
When a venue’s details change, edit it once and every event that uses it updates.
Give each event its own coordinator instead of sending everything to one office address. Add the person running the event, and they hear about each new registration and payment as it happens.
Registrants can reply straight to the coordinator, and the coordinator can be shown as the contact on the event page. You choose which of these to switch on, event by event.
